A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
APPROVING ANNEXATION NO. 60-C TO THE CITY OF REDLANDS
LAFC NO. 2342
WHEREAS , on the 18th day of September , 1985 , the Local Agency
Formation Commission of San Bernardino County, following appropriate
proceedings and public hearing, approved LAFC No. 2342 by adoption of
LAFC Resolution No. 2008 , which approved Annexation No. 60-C (approxi-
mately 280 acres of area generally located south of the intersection
of Edgemont and Sunset Drives) , an inhabited municipal annexation
subject to the following conditions :
1 . The conducting authority for this proceeding shall be the
City Council of the City of Redlands .
2 . The boundaries are approved as set forth in Exhibit A
attached hereto.
3 . The following distinctive short form designation shall be
used throughout this proceeding: LAFC No. 2342 .
4 . The detachment of County Service Area 38 (fire protection) ,
Improvement Zone G of CSA 38 , County Service Area 70
(county-wide) , and Improvement Zone A of CSA 70 (weed
abatement) without split of assets or liabilities .
5 . The date of issuance of the Certificate of Completion
shall be the effective date of this municipal reorgani-
zation.
WHEREAS , the City Council of the City of Redlands adopted
Resolution No. 4114 on the 15th day of October, 1985 , initiating pro-
ceedings for this Reorganization and setting public hearing on this
matter for the 3rd day of December, 1985 , at 7 : 00 P .M. in the Council
Chambers , 212 Brookside Avenue; and
WHEREAS , a duly advertised public hearing has been held on
Resolution No. 4015 as required by the Municipal Organization Act of
1977 (Government Code Section 35000 et. seq. ) ; and
WHEREAS , said hearing produced protests in writing of less
than twenty-five percent (25%) of the registered voters or property
owners ;

NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Redlands does hereby order the following:
1 . That the territory hereinafter described be and is ordered
annexed to the City of Redlands , subject to full compliance
with the findings and conditions as set forth in Local
Agency Formation Commission Resolution No. 2008 ;
2 . That the regular County assessment roll will be used for
tax purposes ;
3 . That the affected property will be taxed for any existing
bonded indebtedness and/or contractural obligations equally
with the property within the City of Redlands .
4 . That the subject territory is hereby detached from County
Service Area 38 (fire protection) , Improvement Zone G of
CSA 38 , County Service Area 70 (county--wide) , and Improve-
ment Zone A of CSA 70 (weed abatement) without split of
assets or liabilities ; and
5 . That said territory is all that territory situated in the
County of San Bernardino, State of California, and parti-
cularly described in the attached Exhibit A.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 3rd day of December, 1985 .

JUNE 25, 1985
In the unincorporated area of San Bernardino County, State of California,
being that portion of Section 12, T. 2S. , R. 3W. , San Bernardino Base and
Meridian, more particularly described as follows :
Commencing at the northeast corner of said Section 12;
Thence southerly along the east line of said Section 12 to the northeast
corner of the southeast quarter of the northeast quarter of said Section
12, said point also being the True Point of Beginning;
Thence continuing southerly along the said east line to the southeast
corner of the northeast quarter of the southeast quarter of said Section
12, said point also being on the south line of the north half of the south
half of said Section 12;
Thence westerly along said south line to the southwest corner of the northeast
quarter of the southwest quarter of said Section 12, said point also being on
the west line of the east half of the west half of said Section 12;
Thence northerly along said west line to the northwest corner of the northeast
quarter of the northwest quarter of said Section 12, said point also being
on the north line of said Section 12;
Thence east along said north line to the northeast corner of the said northeast
quarter of the northwest quarter of said Section 12;
Thence southerly along the east line of the said northeast quarter of the north-
west quarter of said Section 12 to the southeast corner of the said northeast
quarter of the northwest quarter of said Section 12, said point also being on the
south line of the north half of the north half of said Section 12;
Thence easterly along said south line to the northeast corner of the southeast
quarter of the northeast quarter of said Section 12, and the True Point of
Beginning.
Acreage: 280 acres more or less.
