RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS REAFFIRMING THE INTEN-
TION TO INITIATE ON ITS OWN MOTION PROCEEDINGS TO ANNEX CERTAIN TERRITORY
BE IT RESOLVED BY 'NIE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS -
1 . .gnat the Council of the City of Redlands proposes to initiate
on its own motion proceedings to annex to the City of Redlands all of
the territory hereinafter described, consisting of non-contiguous terri-
tory not exceeding one hundred acres in accordance with Section 35201. 5
of the Government Code of the State of California.
2 . That the -territory which the Council proposes to annex is here-
by identified as "Annexation No. 44" and consists of all that non-
contiguous real property owned by the City of Redlands, used for munici-
pal purposes and situate in the County of San Bernardino, State of
California, described as follows:
PARCEL NO. 1:
Lot 20, Tract 2569, in the County of San Bernardino, State of
California, as per plat recorded in Book 36 of Maps, Page 72
in the office of the County Recorder of said County.
PARCEL NO. 2:
That Dortion of Lot 1, Block 8, STRETCH MAP OF MENTONE, in the
County of San Bernardino, State of California, as per plat
recorded in Book 8 of Maps, page 81, in the office of the
County Recorder of said County, described as follows:
BEGINNING at the Northeasterly corner of Lot 20, Tract 2569,
as per plat recorded in Book 36 of maps, page 72, records of
said County7 thence Easterly, along the Southerly line of San
Bernardino Avenue, 31 , 22 feet to the Northwesterly corner of
Lot 19, said Tract 25697 thence Southn�esterly along the North-
westerly line of said Lot 19 a distance of 460 . 26 fee-1C to the
Easterly line of Agate Avenue7 thence Northerly along the said
Easter!y line of said Agate Avenue, 41, 77 feet to the mast
Southerly corner of Lot 20 of said Tract 2569; thence North-
easterly along the Southeasterly line of said Lot 20 a distance
of A-08.16 feet to the point of beginning.
3 . That Whe City Clerk of the City of Redlands is hereby directed
to file with -the Local Agencv, Formation Commission of the County of San
Bernardino, State of California, this proposal to initiate proceedings
to annex the hereinabove described territori, to the City of Redlands,
and to request a report by the Commission as provided for in Section
35201 . 5 of the Government Code.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 19th day of October, 1971 .
