A RESOLUTTON APPROVTXO TOE AX.EXaTION OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY
DESIGNATED AS "ANNEXATION DISTRICT NO. 44" TO THE CITY OF REDLANDS
BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CTT Y COUNCIL OF TEE CITY OF REDLANDS :
WHEREAS, on the 19th day of October, 1971 the City Council did
adopt Resolution No. 2902 declaring the intention to annex certain prop-
erty designated as Annexation No. 44 under provisions of the Annexation
of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939 as set forth in Sections 35300 to
35325 of the Government Code of the State of California, and
WHEREAS, on the 24th day of November, 1.971 the Local Agency Forma-
tion Commission of the County of San Bernardino did approve annexation
of this property to the City of Redlands under Resolution No. 692 and
designated as LAFC 41078, and did authorize the City to proceed without
notice and publication as is provided by law, and
WHEREAS, one hundred percent of the property owners consent to and
request this annexation, and
WHEREAS, said territory is uninhabited territory in the County of
San Bernardino,
NOW, THEREFORE, the said City Council of the City of Redlands does
hereby approve the annexation hereinafter described to the City of
Redlands, and does hareby further resolve that the said territory be
and is hereby annexed to the City of Redlands, and in compliance with
the LAFC resolution of approval, the territory is detached from CSA
38, CSA 70 and Improvement Zone A of 70, without split of assets or
liabilities;
That said territory, the annexation of which to the City of
Redlands is herein approved, is all that real property owned by the
City of Redlands, used for municipal purposes, and situate in the County
of San Bernardino, State of California, described as follows :
PARCEL O. 1:
Lot 20, Tract 2569, in the County of San Bernardino, State of
California, as per plat recorded in Book 36 of Maps, Page 72
in the office of the County Recorder of said County.
PARCEL NO. 2
That portion of Lot 1, Block 8, STRETCH MAP OF MENTONE, in the
County of San Bernardino, State of California, as per plat
recorded in Book 8 of Maps, page 81, in the office of the
County Recorder of said County, described as follows:
BEGINNING at the Northeasterly corner of Lot 20, Tract 2569,
as per plat recorded in Book 36 of Maps, page 72, records of
said County; thence Easterly, along the Southerly line of San
Bernardino Avenue, 31 . 22 feet to the Northwesterly corner of
Lot 19, said Tract 2569; thence Southwesterly along the North-
westerly line of said Lot 19 a distance of 460 . 26 feet to the
Easterly line of Agate Avenue; thence Northerly along the said
Easterly line of said Agate Avenue, 41 . 77 feet to the most
Southerly corner of Lot 20 of said Tract 25697 thence North-
easterly along the Southeasterly line of said Lot 20 a distance
of 408 . 16 feet to the point of beginning.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 7th day of DecenLer, 1971 .
