A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
REDLANDS AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF LOCAL
JURISDICATIONAL APPROVAL OF AN APPLICATION FOR
HOMELESS PREVENTION AND RAPID RE-HOUSING PROGRAM
FUNDS TO THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA HOUSING AND
COMMUNITY DEPARTMENT SUBMITTED BY FAMILY SERVICES
ASSOCIATION OF REDLANDS
WHEREAS, the California Department of Housing and Community Development (the
"Department") is authorized to allocate Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-housing
Program ("HPRP") funds made available from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban
Development ("HUD"); and
WHEREAS, Family Services Association of Redlands (FSA) is a non-profit agency that
has been providing services to low-income and homeless families for over 1 I 1 years; and
WHEREAS, FSA wishes to submit an application to the Department; and
WHEREAS, FSA's application requires endorsement by the City in the form of an
executed "Jurisdictional Approval" form;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by City Council of the City of Redlands as
follows:
Section 1. FSA will be solely responsible for the completion of the application for
HPRP funds submitted to the Department.
Section 2. Endorsement of ESA's application will be provided by executing the
"Jurisdictional Approval"form as required by the Department.
Section 3. The Mayor of the City of Redlands, or the Mayor's designee, is authorized
to execute the documents prepared by the Department.

Instructions: If the Project serves the population in an HPRP-eligible city, the Local Jurisdictional Approval
must be completed by the city. If the Project serves the population in the unincorporated area of an HPRP-
eligible county, this form must be completed by the county.
The Local Jurisdictional Approval is required for each city or county, as applicable.
