A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
SETTING PRIORITIES FOR FILING A WRITTEN ARGUMENT REGARDING
A CITY MEASURE
WHEREAS, a special municipal election is to be held in the City of Redlands on
Tuesday, November 8, 2005, at which time there will be submitted to the voters the following
measure:
"Shall the initiative ordinance of the People of Redlands amending the principles
of managed growth and the land use, circulation, open space and conservation,
health and safety and noise elements of the Redlands General Plan, be adopted?"
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS does
resolve, declare, determine and order as follows:
SECTION ONE: That the City Council authorizes
Susan Peppler, Councilmember Against
Gilberto Gil, Councilmember Against
Pat Gilbreath, Councilmember Against
Gary George, Councilmember Against
Jon Harrison, Councilmember Against
members of that body, to file a written argument regarding the City measure as specified above in
accordance with Article 4, Chapter 3, Division 5 of the California Elections Code and to change
the argument until and including the date fixed by the City Clerk after which no arguments for or
against the City measure may be submitted to the City Clerk.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 5th day of July, 2005.
