RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF REDLANDS APPOINTING ASSESSMENT ENGINEER
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 91-1
WHEREAS, the City Council (the "City Council") of the
City of Redlands (the "City") , proposes to undertake proceedings
pursuant to the Municipal Improvement Act of 1913 , Division 12 of
the Streets and Highways Code, and the Improvement Bond Act of
1915, Division 10 of said Code, for the purpose of establishing an
assessment district, including portions of the City which will
benefit from the construction of public improvements to be financed
with the proceeds of bonds to be issued pursuant to the Improvement
Bond Act of 1915; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to appoint engineers to prepare
the report required by Section 10204 of the Streets and Highways
Code and perform other engineering services necessary to said
proceedings; and
WHEREAS, NBS/Lowry Incorporated are engineers skilled in
the performance of such engineering services, including the
preparation of those portions of the report required by
subdivisions (d) and (e) of Section 10204 of the Streets and
Highways Code and have submitted written proposals covering their
performance of professional engineering services on behalf of the
City of Redlands to the City Council .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That NBS/Lowry Incorporated is employed to
perform the engineering services in connection with the proposed
assessment district as enumerated in the proposal of said firm, a
copy of which is on file with the City Clerk, and that said firm
shall be compensated for performing such services in accordance
with the schedules contained in its said proposal.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 12th day of November,
1991.

City Council of the City of Redlands at an adjourned regular
meeting thereof held on the 12th day of November, 1991 by the
