RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
REDLANDS AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 4815 TO
MODIFY THE DESCRIPTION OF THE IMPROVEMENTS FOR
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 91--1
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 91-1
WHEREAS, on November 12 , 1991, the City Council (the
"City Council") of the City of Redlands (the "City'") adopted
Resolution No. 4815, the Resolution of Intention (the "Resolution
of Intention") for proceedings regarding the financing of the
construction of certain public improvements for Assessment District
No. 91-1 (the "Assessment District") pursuant to the provisions of
Division 12 of the Streets and Highways Code, the Municipal
Improvement Act of 1913 ; and;
WHEREAS, the City Council has been advised by bond
counsel for the Assessment District that the improvements
identified and described in the Resolution of Intention to be
financed with the proceeds of the sale of the bonds for the
Assessment District should be modified to conform with changes in
the description of such improvements contained in the Engineer's
Report for the Assessment District approved by Resolution No. 4834
adopted by the City Council on March 31, 1992 ; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined, based upon the
recommendation of bond counsel , that Resolution No. 4815 should be
amended to modify the description of the improvements described in
Section 1 thereof;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED BY
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . Description of Improvements. Resolution No.
4815 is amended to modify the description of the improvements
contained therein, and Section 1 of said resolution is amended to
read as follows:
Section 1. Description of Improvements. The public
interest, convenience, and necessity require, and it is
the intention of the City Council of the City of
Redlands pursuant to the provisions of Division 12 of the
Streets and Highways Code, commonly known as the
"Municipal Improvement Act of 191311 , to order the
construction of the public improvements, together with
incidental costs and expenses in connection with the
proposed assessment district, for the benefit of the
lands within the exterior boundaries of the proposed
assessment district hereinafter referred to as the
"improvements, " more particularly described as follows:
A. Construction of streets to include
grading, compaction, aggregate base,
asphalt concrete paving, concrete
curb and gutters, street lights,
street name signs and signage,
traffic striping, sidewalks,
landscaping and miscellaneous work
on the following streets:
1. The easterly one-half of
Mountain View Avenue for
a length of approximately
2 , 400 feet, from the
Atchison Topeka and Santa
Fe Railroad northerly to

the intersection with San
Bernardino Avenue.
2 . San Bernardino Avenue for
a length of approximately
5, 280 feet from Mountain
View Avenue easterly to
the intersection with
California Street.
3 . The westerly one-half of
California Street for a
length of approximately
7, 900 feet from State
Highway 1-10 northerly.
4 . Lugonia Avenue for a
length of approximately
3 , 000 feet from
California Street
westerly to the
intersection with
Victoria Avenue.
5. Lugonia Avenue for a
length of approximately
1, 700 feet from Victoria
Avenue westerly to the
intersection with Street
"E" within the proposed
Barton Center Redlands.
6. Victoria Avenue for a
length of approximately
3 , 200 feet from Lugonia
Avenue northerly and
westerly to the
intersection with
Mountain View Avenue.
7 . Almond Avenue for a
length of approximately
900 feet from California
Street westerly to the
intersection with Street
"D" within the proposed
Barton Center Redlands.

B. Construction of storm drain
facilities including 24-inch to
108-inch diameter reinforced
concrete pipe storm drains, inlet
pipes, junction structures, catch
basins, outlet structures and
appurtenant work on the following
streets:
1 . Mountain View Avenue from
Victoria Avenue northerly

2 . Lugonia Avenue from
California Street

to the San Bernardino
County Flood control
District channel .

C. Installation of traffic signals at
the intersection of California
Street and Lugonia Avenue.
D. Construction of water facilities
including 8-inch through 16-inch
diameter potable water mains, 4-inch
and 6-inch diameter non-potable
water mains, fire hydrants, services
and appurtenant work on the
following streets:
1. Mountain View Avenue from
the Atchison Topeka and
Santa Fe Railroad to San
Bernardino Avenue.

Section 2 . Effective Date and Amendment of Resolution
No. 4815 . This resolution shall become effective upon adoption,
and Resolution No. 4815 shall remain in full force and effect as
amended hereby.
