A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AMENDING
RESOLUTION NO. 5567 TO MOVE THE INFORMATION SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN
POSITION FROM THE POLICE DEPARTMENT TO THE MUNICIPAL UTILITIES
DEPARTMENT WITH A TITLE CHANGE AND INCREASE IN SALARY; TO
DOWNGRADE THE MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEMS MANAGER TO A
SENIOR INFORMATION SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN, AND CHANGE THE TITLE OF THE
ENGINEERING MANAGER.
WHEREAS, the City of Redlands makes every possible effort to analyze the needs of the City to
increase efficiency and have determined that the Information Systems Technician in the Police
Department would be better suited to the Management Information Systems Division of the
Municipal Utilities Department with an increase in responsibility and salary;
WHEREAS, the City of Redlands evaluates positions for appropriateness of qualifications, salary
and title as they become vacant;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS does hereby
resolve that Salary Resolution 5567 be amended to reflect the upgrade and re-assignment of the
Information Systems Technician from the Police Department to the Municipal Utilities
Department, the downgrade of the M.I.S. Manager, and the change in title of the Engineering
Manager to Civil Engineer, as follows:
