RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
REDLANDS AWARDING 1994 GENERAL OBLIGATION
REFUNDING BONDS
WHEREAS, on February 1, 1994, the City Council (the "City Council") of the
City of Redlands (the "City") adopted Resolution No. 5048 ordering that sealed bids for the
purchase of bonds of the City to be designated "City of Redlands 1994 General Obligation
Refunding Bonds" (the "Bonds") would be received prior to 10:00 a.m. on March 1, 1994 at
the offices of Miller & Schroeder Financial, Inc., Financial Advisor to the City (the "Financial
Advisor"), and authorizing the Financial Advisor to open all such bids which were received and
to advise the City Council of the terms of all such bids and of the name and address of the
bidder submitting the bid resulting in the lowest net interest cost to the City; and
WHEREAS, the Financial Advisor has advised the City Council that based on its
evaluation of the bids which were received for the purchase of the Bonds, Miller & Schroeder
Financial, Inc. submitted the bid which will result in the lowest net interest cost to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is in the best interest of the
City that the bid of Miller & Schroeder Financial, Inc. be accepted, and that the Bonds be
awarded to said firm subject to the adoption by the City Council of a resolution authorizing and
providing for the issuance and sale of the Bonds;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS that the bid of Miller & Schroeder
Financial, Inc. for the purchase of the Bonds is accepted and the Bonds are awarded to said firm
conditional upon the adoption by the City Council of Resolution No. 5056.
ADOPTED this 1st day of March, 1994.
