HomeMy WebLinkAbout3694_CCv0001.pdf RESOLUTION NO . 3694 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS ESTABLISHING A SCHEDULE OF FEES TO BE CHARGED FOR SPECIFIED TYPES OF BUILDING PEPJAITS AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 3510 AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 3582 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS does hereby resolve as follows : SECTION ONE: That Section III , Part 4 , be revised to read as follows : 4 . Permits Building (including new construction , grading, additions , repairs , swimming pools , etc. Fee based on value as per currently adopted building code as amended. EXCEPTION: Regardless of valuation , costs for the following building permit categories shall not exceed the specified maximum sums for work on any one lot or parcel of property: Chain link or wood fence . . . . . $10 . 00 (Permits required when over 3 feet high) Hot Tub or Spa (Additional electrical, plumbing, and/or mechanical permits at regular fees . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $10 . 00 Underground fuel tanks . . . . . . $10 . 00 Residential masonry garden wall when retaining thirty (30) inches or less of earth (Permits re- quired when masonry wall exceeds 30 inches in height. $15. 00 Patios (each structure) . . . . . . $15. 00 Roof recover (each dwelling and garage or carport. . . . . . . $15 . 00 NOTE: This exception is not intended to prevent the use of regular fee schedule for the issuance of one permit for resi- dential fencing or block walls on more than one property , provided the additional property is contiguous and all properties are under one ownership. SIGN. A permit application fee of $10 . 00 plus 1. Temporary signs - Twenty cents (20�) per square foot. 2 . Permanent signs - Thirty cents (30�) per square foot. 3 . Remodeled signs (not including moved signs) - Fifteen cents (15G) per square foot. 4 . Permanent signs painted directly on walls - Ten cents (10�) per square foot. NOTE: A moved sign shall be considered as a new sign A surety bond in favor of the City of Redlands will be required prior to issuance of a permit in the following amounts. a.
