RESOLUTION TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
SETTING IN'T'ERIM NUMBER OF BUILDING PERMITS AVAILABLE
QUARTERLY TO QUALIFIED NONVESTED DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS
PURSUANT TO REDLANDS MUNICIPAL CODE SECTION 19 .24 .030
WHEREAS, Redlands Municipal Code chapter 19 .24 estab-
lishes guidelines for the processing of development projects with
nonvested rights under Measure "N" ; and
WHEREAS, Section 15 .24 .030 of the chapter requires
this Council on an interim basis to set a limit on the number of
building permits per month to be made available to development
project which have fully qualified for same under all aspects of
state and local law including Redlands ' point system, but which
do not have vested rights under Measure "N" ; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2031 finds that a minimal
number of building permits should be made available periodically
to qualified but nonvested development projects to assure a
continuous supply of housing for our citizens and to protect the
reasonable development expectations of landowners filing for land
use approvals and entitlements within the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Redlands that for the calendar year 1989 150 building
permits shall be set aside until October 1, 1989 to qualified
single family homes on existing lots of record and mobilehomes in
mobilehome parks, and that 44 building permits be made available
on a quarterly basis (January 1 , April 1 , July 1, and October 1)
to other nonvested projects .
