A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS APPROVING
THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT CONSOLIDATED ANNUAL
PERFORMANCE AND EVALUATION REPORT PLAN FOR FY 2014-2015 AS PART OF
THE END OF THE YEAR REQUIREMENT PROVIDED TO THE DEPARTMENT OF
HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT UNDER THE ENTITLEMENT GRANTEE
PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, the City of Redlands participates in the Department of Housing and Urban
Development's (HUD) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program; and
WHEREAS, the City received CDBG funds in fiscal year 2014-2015; and
WHEREAS, HUD requires the City to prepare and submit a Consolidated Asnival
Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) for the CDBG program within 90 days of the close
of the fiscal year; and
WHEREAS, on August 28, 2015, the City published a public notice in the Redlands Daily
Facts newspaper indicating that the CAPER would be available to the public for review and
comment from September 1, 2015 through September 14, 2015; and
WHEREAS, on September 15 2015,the City Council reviewed the CAPER and approved
the report,including any comments and response to the comments that are accepted at the hearing;
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redlands as follows:
Section 1. The facts set forth above in this Resolution are true and correct.
Section 2. The Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report for fiscal
year 2013-2014 is hereby adopted, and the City Council does hereby authorize the City Manager,
or his designee,to be the official representative of the City of Redlands to submit the Consolidated
Annual Perfonnance and Evaluation Report to HUD.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect upon the date of its adoption.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 15"' day of September, 2015.
