A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS PURSUANT TO TITLE 10 OF
THE REDLANDS MUNICIPAL CODE ESTABLISHING A 270 FEET `NO -
PARKING ZONE' ON LUGONIA AVENUE AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER
OF THE LUGONIA AVENUE AND TEXAS STREET INTERSECTION
WHEREAS, pursuant to studies made under the authonty of Title 10 of the Redlands
Municipal Code, and the presentation of information contained m such studies, the City Council of
the City of Redlands ("this City Council") has determined that certain traffic regulations are necessary
to protect the pubhc health, safety and welfare and should be established pursuant to Title 10 of the
Redlands Municipal Code
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
REDLANDS AS FOLLOWS
Section 1 This City Council determines that approval of this Resolution is exempt from
environmental review under California Environmental Quality Act ("CEQA") pursuant to State
CEQA Guidelines section 15301(c) which provides exemption for minor alterations of existing public
streets and sidewalks This City Council finds with certainty that the improvements involve negligible
or no expansion of an existmg use
Section 2 Pursuant to Section 10 40 040 of the Redlands Municipal Code, the City Council
hereby establishes a 270 feet `No -Parking Zone' on Lugonia Avenue at the northwest corner of the
Lugoma Avenue and Texas Street intersection
Section 3 City staff is hereby directed to take all actions to undertake painting and signage
to implement this Resolution
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 17t' Slay May, 2022
