A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
ADOPTING THE CITY OF REDLANDS WASTEWATER MASTER PLAN
WHEREAS, the City of Redlands ("City") desires to plan for short and long term Capital
Improvement Program ("CIP") projects and establish an infrastructure improvement schedule for the
following twenty (20) years, and
WHEREAS, the Municipal Utilities and Engineering Department was authorized by the City
Council on September Pt, 2020, to enter into an agreement with Dudek, a professional engineering
services firm, to update and develop a Citywide Wastewater Master Plan ("Plan"), and
WHEREAS, the City's consultant has utilized the Plan prepared in 1998, and the City's
records of information, in developing a comprehensive master plan, and
WHEREAS, the City's Plan will be used as the foundation for implementing structural CIP
projects when funding is available, and
WHEREAS, the Plan is now complete and requires City Council adoption;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
REDLANDS AS FOLLOWS
Section 1 That approval of this Resolution is exempt from review under the California
Environmental Quality Act ("CEQA") pursuant to Section 15061(b)(3) of the State's Guidelines
implementing CEQA
Section 2 The City Council hereby adopts the City of Redlands' Wastewater Master Plan
attached hereto as Exhibit "A "
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 17th day of May, 2022
