RESOLUTION
The City Council of the City of Redlands, California, does hereby
resolve as follows:
That the application of California Electric Power Company, an elec-
trical public utility corporation, dated December 11 1950, for the
license and privilege to construct, maintain, opera e"�"nc use a combined
88,000 volt circuit and 33,000 volt circuit, three-phase, wood pole supported,
electric transmission line, with appurtenant telephone line., upon and by means
of one line of 70 foot and 75 foot poles, spaced approximately 225 feet apart,
I. upon and along; San Bernardino Avenue, in the City of Redlands, and upon, over
it and across certain land and real property of the City of Redlands, situate in
San Bernardino County., California, as in said application and this resolution
more particularly set forth and described, be and the same is hereby allowed
and granted.
Thatursuant to said application., and subject to the conditions

hereinafter statsd, the license and privilege be and the same is hereby
allowed and granted California Electric Power Company, its successors and
assigns, to construct, maintain, operate and use the combined electric
transmission line and appurtenant telephone line hereinbefore described.,
upon and along San Bernardino Avenue., in the City of Redlands, California.,
as follows:
Beginning at and on the west boundary line of the City of
Redlands (center line of Tennessee Street) at a point 24
feet north of the center line of San Bernardino Avenue and
running thence east parallel to and 24 feet north of the
center lame of San Bernardino Avenue to the east boundary
line of the City of Redlands at Wabash Avenue,
as shown by solid black line on the print map or plat attached to and made a
part of said application.
That pursuant to said application, and subject to the conditions
hereinafter stated, the license and privilege is hereby allowed and granted
to California Electric Power Company, its successors and assigns, to con•»
struct,maintain, operate and use the combined electric transmission line and
appurtenant telephone line hereinbefore described, upon, over and across the
land and real property of the City of Redlands, situate in San Bernardino

County, California., described as bots 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, of Block 13, Lot 1
of Block 19; Lots b and 7 of Block 16; Block 25; and Lots 1 and 2 of Block
26, all of Mentone, as shown by map thereof commonly known as Mentone Stretch
Map, recorded in Book 8 of Taps, in page 81., records of San Bernaz-d..ino
County, California.
Said combined electric transmission line, and appurtenant telephone
line,shall be constructed., maintained and operated upon, over and across said

and privilege to construct., maintain.. operate and'r use said hereinbefore men-
tioned combined 88,000 volt circuit and 33,,000 volt circuit electric trans-
mission line, together with said appurtenant telephone line., -upon,, over and
across land and real property of the City of Redlands,, situate in San
Bernardino County.. California., and described as Lots 1., 2., 3., 4., and 5 of
i Block 13; Lot 1 of Block 19* Lots 6 and 7 of Block 18; Block 25; and Lots
1 and 2 of Block 26, all of Mentone., as shown by map thereof commonly known
as Mentone Stretch Map., recorded in Book 8 of Maps in page 81, records of
San Bernardino County,, California,
Said combined electric transmission line, including said appurte-
nant telephone line., is to be constructed, maintained and operated upon and
across said described land and real property of the City of Redlands upon,
it over and along, the following described center line:
Beginning an the west line of said Lot 1 of Block 13
(said west line being common to the center line of
Crafton Avenue) at a point 24 -feet south of the north
line of said Lot 1 (said north line being common to
the center line of Saratoga (San Bernardino Avenue)
and running thence south 890 121 east a distance of
5349,5 feet; thence south 690 llf east a distance of
3020.9 feet to a point in said Lot 2 of Block 26 of
Mentone
as shown on said Mentone Stretch Map., from
which point the southwest comer of said Lot 2 of
Block 26 bears south 211 45t west 219.2 feet.
The location of said combined transmission line and appurtenant
telephone line upon and along San Bernardino Avenue and upon, over and across
the land and real property hereinbefore described is shown in solid black line ,
on the print pap or plat attached harp-to and made apart of this application.
The 88,000 volt circuit and the appurtenant telephone line proposed
to be placed and maintained on said combined electric transmission line will
be operated and used for and in connection with providing electric energy
and service to the City of Banning and the general public easterly of said
City. The 33,000 volt circuit now proposed to be placed and maintained on
said combined transmission line will be operated and used privwxily for and
in connection with providing electric energy and service to certain pumping
1 plants of the City of Redlands. Said 33,,000 volt circuit -will at this time
extend only to Judson Street where it will connect with the Power Company's
existing 33.,000 volt cimut on the east side of Judson Street* As and when
necessary to meet future electric service requirements said 33,000 volt cir-
I cult will be extended on said combined transmission line east of Judson
Street to California 'Electric Power Companyts Yucaipa electric substation
located approximately three miles east of the west line of the hereinbefore
described Lot 2 of Block 26 of Mentone
as shoran on said Mentone Stretch 'Map,
In addition to said 88,000 and 33.,000 volt circuits., space will be
available on said combined transmission line poles for future use of Southern
of space on said poles for one or more electric circuits of said Southern
California. Edison Company.
Said combined electric transmission 'line and appurtenant telephone
line will be constructed, maintained and operated in accordance vrith the re-
quirements of General Order No. 95 of the Public Utilities Commission of the
State of California and the lair governing the construction and maintenance of
overhead electric lines in this state; and said transmission line as con-
structed, maintained and operated will not interfere with the use and enjoy—
ment
njoyment of the hereinbefore mentioned and described avenues, streets and lands
of the City of Redlands,
In order that the City of Redlands may have space for future signal
circuits of the city upon and along the Power Company's proposed combined
transmission line and appurtenant telephone line, California Electric PM'Ter
Company agrees that it ,,rill furnish and provide free pin space for two signal
circuits of the City of Redlands upon the telephone line crossarms of the
Power Company upon the poles of said proposed combined transmission line and
telephone line, and agrees that the City of Redlands shall have the right to
use and enjoy such pin space and to erect, maintain and opera:e two signal
circuits thereon without payment therefor to the Power Con-hpany, at all times
that said combined transmission lane and telephone line is maintained and {
operated by California II.ectric Power Company, its successors and assigns,
upon and along San Bernardino Avenue and the above described land and real
property of the City of Redlands.
It is understood that upon the granting of the license and privi—
lege herein applied .for, the license and privilege allowed and granted to
California Electric Power Company, its successors andassigns, by said
resolution passed and adopted the lst day of Auzst, I9d, may and shah be
revoked and terminated by the City of Redlands, without the necessity of
giving notice thereof to California Electric Power Company.
