A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS APPROVING THE
APPLICATION TO THE CALIFORNIA ENERGY COMMISSION FOR PARTICIPATION IN
THE MUNICIPAL REFUSE PORTION OF THE ENERGY PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, the California Energy Commission (CEC) has developed a
Municipal Refuse Energy portion to the Energy Partnership Program which
provides technical assistance to local governments in identifying and
implementing cost effective municipal refuse energy options; and
WHEREAS, the City of Redlands recognizes that assistance will allow better
use of limited staff resources and expertise to deal with municipal refuse
energy matters.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Redlands
authorizes and directs the Community Services Director to file an
application to the California Energy Commission for participation in the
Municipal Refuse portion of the Energy Partnership Program.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 19th day of April, 1988.
