A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
DESIGNATING THE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE ADMINISTRATION OF
CALTRANS STATE PROGRAM AGREEMENTS FOR STATE AND
FEDERALLY FUNDED CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS TO THE
CITY'S DIRECTOR OF MUNICIPAL UTILITIES AND PUBLIC WORKS
ENGINEER
WHEREAS, the City of Redlands ("the City") is eligible to receive Federal and/or State
funding for certain transportation projects through the California Department of Transportation
("Caltrans"); and
WHEREAS, State Master Agreements, Program Supplemental Agreements, Fund
Exchange Agreements and/or Fund Transfer Agreements ("the State Agreements") must be
approved and executed with Caltrans before such funds may be claimed by the City; and
WHEREAS, Caltrans has requested the City to designate a specific City employee to be
responsible for the administration of the State Agreements for state and federally funded capital
improvement projects; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Redlands wishes to designate the Director of
Municipal Utilities and Public Works Engineer of the City, or such Director's authorized
designee, as being responsible for the administration of all Caltrans State Agreements, and any
amendments thereto;
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF REDLANDS AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby designates the Director of
Municipal Utilities and Public Works Engineer of the City of Redlands as having responsibility
to administer Caltrans State Agreements.
