HomeMy WebLinkAbout7269_CCv0001.pdf RESOLUTION NO. 7269 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AMENDING THE FIVE YEAR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM FOR FISCAL YEAR 2012-2013 THROUGH 2016-2017 WHEREAS, the San Bernardino County voters approved passage of Measure "I" in November 2004 authorizing San Bernardino Associated Governments, acting as the San Bernardino County Transportation Authority (the "Authority), to impose a one-half of one percent retail transactions and use tax (the "Tax") applicable in the incorporated and unincorporated territory of the County of San Bernardino, and WHEREAS, revenue from the tax may only be used for transportation improvement and traffic management programs authorized in the Expenditure Plans set forth in Ordinance No. 04-1 of the Authority, and WHEREAS, the Authority's Strategic Plan requires each local jurisdiction applying for revenue from the Valley Major Street and Freeway Interchange Programs to annually adopt and update a Five Year Capital Improvement Program; and WHEREAS, on September 181h 2012 the City Council of the City of Redlands adopted the Measure "I"Five Year Capital Improvement Program for Fiscal Years 2012- 2013 through 2016-2017; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Redlands hereby amends the Measure "I" Five Year Capital Improvement Program for Fiscal Years 2012-2013 through 2016-2017, a copy of which is attached to this resolution as Exhibit"A".
