HomeMy WebLinkAbout5595_CCv0001.pdf RESOLUTION NO.5595 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS RELATING TO FEES FOR SALE OF CEMETERY PLOTS, CRYPTS, NICHES, SETTING OF MARKERS AND MISCELLANEOUS SERVICES. WHEREAS, the City of Redlands operates and maintains a cemetery at Hillside Memorial Park: and WHEREAS, the Cemetery Division of the Public Works Department provides for sale to the general public, various plots, crypts, niches, and services relating to the setting of markers, lettering of mausoleum shutters, and sale of miscellaneous supplies related to cemetery operations, and WHEREAS, based upon studies undertaken by the Public Works Department to determine the cost of property, materials and services available for sale, the City Council of the City of Redlands has determined the fees charges by the City should be increased to recoup the costs reasonably borne by the City in connection with the sale of property, materials and services; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redlands as follows: Section 1. The fees for sale of property, materials and services provided by the City at Hillside Memorial Park as set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto are hereby adopted. Section 2. The Cemetery Fees per Executive Order 37-93, dated January 1997, pertaining the cemetery fees is hereby rescinded. ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 16' day of February , 1999.
