RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
REDLANDS AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR
OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS TO AUTHORIZE AND ORDER
THE ISSUANCE OF CITY OF REDLANDS CERTIFICATES
FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A CITY OFFICE BUILDING IN
THE CITY OF REDLANDS.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Redlands, by Resolution
dated April 3, 1962, has authorized and created an issue of not
exceeding $475,000 aggregate principal amount of City of Redlands
Certificates, Issue 1962, and provided the terms and conditions of
issuance thereof to provide funds to construct a City office building
pursuant to Article 6.5, Chapter 4, Part 1, Division 2, Title 5 of the
Government Code; and
WHEREAS, the City Council, pursuant to Section 3.01 (B) of said
Resolution has approved plans for the building to be constructed and
has entered into a contract for the construction of said building in
the City of Redlands;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council that the Mayor
of the City of Redlands is authorized and directed to make and execute
the Notices of Intention to Issue and the Orders to Issue Certificates,
and to do and perform such other acts, including execution of such
documents, as may be necessary in conjunction therewith in order to
obtain funds in such amounts as may be needed from time to time not
exceeding a total of $475,000 for the cost of construction of said City
office building in the City of Redlands.
