SERVICES FOR IMPROVEMENT TO PUBLIC BUILDINGS AND GROUNDS
This first amendment ("First Amendment") to the agreement for the replacement of City -
owned streetlights with energy -efficient light -emitting diode lights ("Agreement") dated
September 7, 2021, by and between the City of Redlands, a municipal corporation and a general
law city ("City"), and Tanko Streetlighting, Inc., a California corporation ("Consultant"), is made
and entered into this 19th day of July, 2022.
RECITALS
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City and Consultant to amend their existing Agreement,
specifically to extend the time for completion of the services to March 1, 2023; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City to designate John R. Harris, Municipal Utilities and
Engineering Director, as the City's project representative.
NOW, THEREFORE, for good and valuable consideration in the receipt of which is hereby
acknowledge City and Consultant agree as follows:
AGREEMENT
Section 1. Section 3.2 of the Agreement, titled "Article 3 — Responsibilities of City,"
is hereby amended to read as follows:
"3.2 City designates John R. Harris, Municipal Utilities and Engineering Director, as City's
representative with respect to performance of the Services, and such person shall have the
authority to transmit instructions, receive information, interpret and define City's policies
and decisions with respect to performance of the Services."
Section 2. Section 4.2 of the Agreement, titled "Article 4 — Performance of Services,"
is hereby amended to read as follows:
"4.2 Contractor shall complete the Services by March 1, 2023 unless the Services are earlier
terminated as permitted herein."
Section 3. All other provisions of the Agreement shall remain unchanged by this First
Amendment and in effect.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have executed this First Amendment, to be effective
as of July 19, 2022.
