WHEREAS, Lorenzo Tedesco selected the City of Redlands as an ideal city for the preparation of a modern Civic Center development plan; and )ir,. Tede , a ugot t �t cl .t► emt gr�►� at the University of Southern California, incorporated his out- standing recommendations for the development of the City of Red- lands in a thesis submitted to the University, and WHEREAS, Mr. Tedesco completed a thorough study of the cowtiunity of Redlands to ascertain its need for a Civic Center consistent with the City' s Laster Plan; and WHEREAS, Mr. Tedesco' s constructive approach to sensible community planning and his ability to cooperate in a spirit- of r �s OVAI respect and friendship was recognized by all the public �4 �g t#4 dur - 4 •, q v AS, the brochure containing Mr. Tedesco' s recom- mendations and proposals for the City of Redlands Civic Center constitutes a lasting contribution to the future planning of this growing City; BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED 1. That Mr. Tedesco shall be accorded the deep appre- �� tion and tribute of the City Council, the Planning Director and the Planning Commission of the City of Redlands for his out- stw1i), tanding contribution toward solving the City's ultimate planning needs. � 2.
