Beginning on the Easterly line of said property, at a point 58 feet Southerly
of the Northeasterly corner thereof; thence South 76° 00' West, 15 feet;
thence North 83° 00' West, 35 feetthence South 76° 00' West, 35 feet.
It is understood and agreed that the above strip description is approximate only,
it being the intention of the Grantor herein, by this conveyance, to grant an
easement for said underground electric system, the center line of which easement
shall be coincidental with the center line of said electric system as installed
in and under the Grantor's property.
Grantor(s) agree(s) for themselves (h self), their (11 ) heirs and assigns, not to erect, place or
maintain, nor to pernut the erection, placement or maintenance of any building, planter boxes, earth fill or
other structures except walls and fences on the above described real property. The Grantee, and its con-
tractors, agents and employees, shall have the right to trim or cut tree roots as may endanger or interfere
with saidsystentis and shall have free access to said systems and every put thereof at all ttules, fur
the purpose of exercising the rights herein granted; provided, however, that in making any excavation on
said property of the Grantor(s), the Grantee shall snake the same in such manner as will cause the least
injury to the surface of the ground around such excavation, at1 shall replace the earth so removed by it
and restore the surface of the ground to as Clear the sante condition as it was prior to such excavation as is
practicable.

Grant of easement from the City of Redlands to the
Southern California Edison Company in order to provide
electrical power for the F.F.A. property at the Redlands
Municipal Airport was unanimously approved on motion of
Councilman DeMirjyn, seconded by Councilwoman Grace,
with the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to sign in
behalf of the City.
On motion of Councilman DeMirjyn, seconded by Council-
woman Grace, the City Clerk was authorized to advertise
for bids for a two-year contract for tractor work and
waste removal in connection with the City°s Weed Abate-
ment Program.
The request of E. L. Yeager for release of 50% of the
retention currently held by the City in connection with
completion of the waste water treatment plant was unani-
mously approved on motion of Councilman Knudsen, seconded
by Mayor Cummings, This release of funds was recommended
by the Department of Public Works.
Director of Public Works Shefchik reported that the
percolation ponds at the water treatment plant will be
used as soon as a safety device is installed,.
Dills and salaries were ordered paid as approved by the
Finance Committee,
There being no further business, Council adjourned, on
motion, at 9020 P.M.
