N L !4Lli L CITY MANAGER Easement L///6Outhern California Edison Bid Call Weed Abatement Fund Release (Continued) Grant of easement from the City of Redlands to the Southern California Edison Company in order to provide electrical power for the F.F.A. property at the Redlands Municipal Airport was unanimously approved on motion of Councilman DeMirjyn, seconded by Councilwoman Grace, with the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to sign in behalf of the City. On motion of Councilman DeMirjyn, seconded by Council- woman Grace, the City Clerk was authorized to advertise for bids for a two-year contract for tractor work and waste removal in connection with the City°s Weed Abate- ment Program. The request of E. L. Yeager for release of 50% of the retention currently held by the City in connection with completion of the waste water treatment plant was unani- mously approved on motion of Councilman Knudsen, seconded by Mayor Cummings, This release of funds was recommended by the Department of Public Works. Director of Public Works Shefchik reported that the percolation ponds at the water treatment plant will be used as soon as a safety device is installed,. Dills and salaries were ordered paid as approved by the Finance Committee, There being no further business, Council adjourned, on motion, at 9020 P.M. Next regular meeting, January 7, 1975.
