',Ai t09 A n N as _ tE -1-- -. 4-1 .Z.. ,o• c 0- • r -to �,ft �• • NEW BUSINESS (Continued) Ordinance No. 1719 Bicycles & Skateboards CITY MANAGER Funds Redlands Mall Parking Lease Funds Police Salary Funds S to uu Damage eclaration 0L Dedication Permit Amendment Agate Well No. 2 Option "B" Water Contract Paae six - March 18, 1980 Ordinance No. 1719, an ordinance of the City of Redlands amending the Redlands Ordinance Code, Section 62104, prohibiting bicycles, skateboards, etc. in any municipal parking facility or upon any sidewalk within any busi- ness district, was given first reading of the title and laid over under the rules with second reading set for April 1, 1980. On motion of Councilman Riordan, seconded by Councilman DeMirjyn, an additional appropriation in the amount of $288,900.00 for the parking lease for the Redlands Mall was approved by AYE votes of all present. This amount will place the budget in compliance with the lease agreement, and if it is not required for debt service, the funds will be returned to the City. An additional appropriation of $72,500.00 from the General Fund for police salary increases granted in the Memorandum of Understanding for the 1979-80 year, a budgeted item, was approved by AYE votes of all pre- sent on motion of Councilman DeMirjyn, seconded by Councilman Riordan. On motion of Councilman DeMirjyn, seconded by Councilman Elliott, authorization was given to transfer $165,000.00 from Capital Improvement Fund to cover recent stoic damage, chiefly Alabama Street and the Zanja in the neighborhood of Eureka Street, and overtime for the crews. Council accepted a Declaration of Dedication from Mission Aviation Fellowship for right-of-way purposes to con- struct Wabash Avenue and Sessums Drive under Select System Project No. 297 by AYE votes of all present_ Council authorized the City to file a request for per- mit amendment to the State Department of Health in order to utilize water into the water system from the new well known as Agate Well No. 2 that will be constructed on the Agate Reservoir Site on motion of Councilman DeMirjyn, seconded by Councilman Elliott. On motion of Councilman DeMirjyn, seconded by Councilman Elliott, Council approved by AYE votes of all present an Option "B" Water Contract between the City and J. J. Ramirez and Amelia Ramires and authorized the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the documents.
