EXECUTION OF THE REDE\,"ELOPMENT PLAN OF THE
REDLANDS REDEVELOPIMENT PROJECT.
BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the REDEVELOPIMENT AGENCY OF
THE CITY OF REDLANDS that:
1. The public interest and necessity require the acquisition of property
and -property rights of ORLAND J. FOWLER and DELBERT C. FOWLER
as described herein, by1 the REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF
REDLANDS, a municipal corporation of the State of California, hereinafter
called "Agency", for public use authorizing bNr law, to wit: redevelopment
of the project area known as Redlands Redevelopment 'Project, and execution
of the Redevelopment Plan of the City of Redlands, California, which Redevelop-
ment Plan is or, file in the office of the Citv Clerk of the City of Redlands, and
for the demolition, removal, or clearance of certain existing buildings and
structures on land acquired by the Agency; the vacation, abandonment and
realignment of certain streets alleys, utilities, and other rights-of-wav;
dedication and reservation of certain areas for public streets, alleys, rights-
of-way, street widening, street installation or other street improvements,
and other public purposes, including installation of public plazas, pedestrianways
and/or pedestrian overpasses, and other necessary site improvements, facilit"
underground placement of utility lines and services, reparcelization of the
area, rough grading of the acquired land, installation of street lighting and
utilities -essential to the preparation of building sites for use in accordance
with the Redevelopi-rient Plan, and for the further purpose of rehabilitation,
including afteration, modernization, (reneral improvement or anv combination
thereof bv the Owners of certain c-xilting structures: and to rnak- -o-nvev-
ances of the real property thus acquired in. accordance -,vidh the said
Redevelopment Plan for the purpose OIL carrying out said Redevelopment Plan,
2. The taking of the said property and property rights is necessary
to such public use, and is necessary, suitable, and proper for the purpose
of redevelopment of the project area known as the Redlands Redevelopment
Project of said city; that the use of all of said property and property rights for
such purposes is a public use authorized by law.
3. That the acquisition of said property and property rights is planned
by the Agency and located in the manner which is most compatible with the
greatest public good and necessity and the least private injury.
4. The Attorney for the Agency is hereby instructed, authorized and
empowered:
(a) To acquire in the name and on behalf of the Agency, said
property and property rights by donation, purchase or condemn-
ation in accordance with provisions of the laws Of the State of
California relating to eminent domain;
(b) To prepare and commence eminent domain proceedings in
the name of the Agency against the owners of said properties
and of any and all interests therein and claims thereto, in
the proper court having jurisdiction thereo.
(c) To make application to said court for an order fixing
the amount of such security as said court may direct and for
an order permitting the Agency to take immediate

possession and 'use of such real properzy or interests in -re-al
property as may lice subject to immediate possession. The
property and property rights referred to herein are that
real property located in the City of Redlands, County of
San Bernardino, State of California, described as follows:

Lots 15 and �&, Block B of Orange Grove Addition in the City
of Redlands, County of San Bernardino, as per map recorded
in Book 4, Page 38, records of said County.
Orland J. Fowler, a married man, Delbert C. Fowler, a
married man, each as to an undivided one-half interest.
