A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
ESTABLISHING A REDEVELOPMENT ADVISORY BOARD
WHEREAS, the City of Redlands has established a Redevelopment
Agency in accordance with the Community Redevelopment Law of the
State of California; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined pursuant to the Community Re-
development Law that the City Council of the City of Redlands shall
act as the Agency; and
WHEREAS, the City Council, acting as the Agency, has adopted
and implemented a Redevelopment Plan for the City of Redlands; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires and finds that it is in the
public interest to establish a Redevelopment Advisory Board to
advise and support the Agency in carrying out the policies of re-
development, stated in Section 33037 of the Health and Safety Code;
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1. To establish a Redevelopment Advisory Board of the
City of Redlands for the purpose of advising and supporting the
Agency in carrying out the objectives of the Redevelopment Plan of
the City of Redlands.
Section 2. To appoint seven (7) members of the Redevelopment
Advisory Board, who shall serve the following terms :
Two members for one (1) year
Two members for two (2) years
Three members for three (3) years
Thereafter the respective successors shall be appointed by the City
Council for periods of three years.
Section 3 . To assign to the Board such redevelopment policy
matters as to which the City Council and the Agency may desire
advice, assistance and support.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 17th day of September, 1974.
