WITHIN THE REDLANDS R-EDEVELOP1,1EINT PROJECT AREA
ARE OF BENEFIT TO THE PROJECT AREA
WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Red-
lands is a redevelopment agency (a public body, corporate
and politic) duly created, established and authorized to
transact business and exercise its powers, all under and
pursuant to the Community Redevelopment Law (Part 1 of Divi-
sion 24 of the Health and Safety Code of the State of Cali-
fornia) and the powers of such agency include thep ower to
issue bonds for any of its corporate purposes; and
WHEREAS, a redevelopment plan for a redevelopment
project known and designated as "Redlands Redevelopment Pro-
ject" has been adopted and approved and all requirement--s of
law for, and precedent to, the adoption and approval of said
plan have been duly complied with; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with said redevelopment plan,
the Agency proposes to acquire and clear certain parcels of
land (the "Site" , described in Exhibit A attached hereto and

parking facility together with related public improvements
(the "Facility" ) thereon, and to lease the Site and the Faci"
ity (referred to herein collectively as the "Leased Premises" )
to the City.
NMI, THEREFORE, the Redevelopment Agency of the City
of Redlands DOE'S HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERI-ZINE, 1:ND ORDER as
follows :
Section 1 . In accordance with Section 33445 of the

is authorized to pay all or part of the value of the land for
and the cost of the installation and construction of any
building, facility, structure, or other improvement which is
publicly o%..,ned either within or %,,lithout a project area, to
the extent that such buildings, facilities, structures, or
other improvements are of benefit to the project area .
Section 2 . The site, as described in Exhibit A at-
tached hereto, and by this reference incorporated herein, the
parking facility together with public improvements being
installed and constructed thereon and the lease of said Site
and Facility, referred to collectively as the Leased Premises,
are of benefit to the redevelopment project area.
