A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
REDLANDS DECLARING RESULTS OF SPECIAL
ELECTION AND DIRECTING RECORDING OF NOTICE OF
SPECIAL TAX LIEN
WHEREAS, on May 15, 2001, the City Council (the "City Council") of the City of
Redlands (the "City"'), adopted a resolution entitled "A Resolution of the City Council of the City
of Redlands Calling Special Election for the City of Redlands Community Facilities District
No. 2001-1" (the "Resolution Calling Election"), calling for a special election of the qualified
electors within the City of Redlands Community Facilities District No. 2001-1 (Northwest
Development Project) (the "District");
WHEREAS, pursuant to the terms of the Resolution Calling Election and the provisions
of the Mello-Roos Community Facilities Act of 1982 (the "Act'), the special election was held on
May 15, 2001;
WHEREAS, the City Clerk of the City (the "City Clerk") has certified the canvass of the
returns of the election and has filed a Canvass and Statement of Results of Election with this City
Council (the "Canvass");
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redlands
as follows:
Section 1. City Council has received, reviewed and hereby accepts the Canvass.
Section 2. The City Council hereby finds and declares that the ballot proposition
submitted to the qualified electors of the District pursuant to the Resolution Calling Election has
been passed and approved by such electors in accordance with Section 53328(a), Section 53355
and Section 53325.7 of the Act.
Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to execute and cause to be recorded in the
office of the San Bernardino County Recorder a notice of special tax lien in the form required by
the Act, said recording to occur no later than fifteen days following adoption by the City Council
of this Resolution.
Section 4, This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 15th day of May, 2001.

COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 2001-1
MEASURE SUBMITTED TO VOTE OF VOTERS:
Shall the City of Redlands Community Facilities District
No. 2001-1 (the "District") be authorized to incur
bonded indebtedness in a maximum amount of not to
exceed $10,000,000 and levy a special tax in order to
finance certain public facilities, including streets,
sidewalks, street lights, storm drain facilities, traffic Yes:
signals, water facilities, non-potable water facilities and
facilities and appurtenances related thereto and shall the
annual appropriations limit of the District be established
in the amount of $10,000,000, all as specified in the No: �—
Resolution entitled "A Resolution of the City Council of
the City of Redlands of Formation of the City of
Redlands Community Facilities District No. 2001-1,
Authorizing the Levy of a Special Tax within the
District and Establishing an Appropriations Limit for the
District" and the Resolution entitled "A Resolution of
the City Council of the City of Redlands Deeming it
Necessary to Incur Bonded Indebtedness within the City

adopted by the City Council of the City of Redlands on
May I5, 2001?
All of the purposes enumerated in the foregoing proposition shall be united and voted upon
as one single proposition, and together shall constitute the specific single purpose of the bonds
proposed to be issued and sold, and proceeds of the bonds shall be spent only for such purpose.
By execution in the space provided below, you also indicate your waiver of the time limit
pertaining to the conduct of the election and any requirement for analysis and arguments with
respect to the ballot measure, as such waivers are described and permitted by Sections 53325(a) and
53327(b) of the Mello-Roos Community Facilities Act of 1982.
