This second amendment ("Second Amendment") to the agreement for professional
planning, environmental and development review services ("Agreement"), dated March 29, 2022,
by and between the City of Redlands, a municipal corporation and a general law city ("City"), and
Michael Baker International, Inc. ("Consultant"), is made and entered into this 6th day of
September 2022.
RECITALS
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City and Consultant to amend their existing Agreement,
specifically to Article 5.1 to increase the payment to the Consultant from one hundred forty-nine
thousand nine hundred ninety dollars ($149,990) to two hundred ninety-nine thousand nine
hundred ninety dollars ($299,990).
NOW, THEREFORE, for good and valuable consideration in the receipt of which is hereby
acknowledge City and Consultant agree as follows:
AGREEMENT
Section 1. Section 5.1 of the Agreement, titled "Payments to Consultant," is hereby
amended to read as follows:
`5.1 Total compensation for Consultant's performance of the Services shall not exceed the
amount of two hundred ninety-nine thousand ninety dollars ($299,990). City shall pay Consultant
on a time and material basis in accordance with Exhibit `B," titled "Compensation," which is
attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference."
Section 2. All other provisions of the Agreement shall remain unchanged by this
Second Amendment and in effect.
Section 3. This Amendment may be executed in counterparts, each of which shall be
deemed an original, but all of which, together, shall constitute one and the same instrument.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have executed this Second Amendment, to be
effective as of September 6, 2022.
