A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS, CALIFORNIA,
AGREEING TO ACT AS FISCAL AGENT FOR GRANT MONIES DISBURSED
BY THE FOUNDATION FOR COMMUNITY SERVICE CABLE TELEVISION
WHEREAS, the City of Redlands is desirous of entering into the
program of Community Cable Television;
WHEREAS, the City of Redlands is desirous of utilizing
Cablevisions ' Channel 29 as a community access channel for cable
television;
WHEREAS, the City of Redlands and Cablevision will be
conducting training classes in Community cable television to be
attended by members of the community;
WHEREAS, the community access channel shall be utilized as a
community bulletin board 24 hours per day for governmental, educational
and public usage;
WHEREAS, the City of Redlands desires to apply for grant funds
to support a grant program for community access;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT:
1 . The City Council of the City of Redlands wholeheartedly
supports its grant application in the amount of $5,000 to the
Foundation for Community Service Cable Television.
2. The City of Redlands agrees to serve as fiscal agent for
the grant should they be awarded.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted at a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Redlands, held on this day of
October, 1986.
