RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS FOR CONDEMNA-
TION OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY OF UNION OIL COMPANY
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redlands,
hereinafter called "City, " as follows :
That there is a present existing public necessity within
the City for real property for street purposes for the use of
t11e inhabitants thereof :
That certain real property in the City owned by UNION OIL
COMPANY, a corporation, is necessary to be taken by the City
for the use of its inhabitants thereof to satisfy said public
necessity for street purposes .
That the proposed use of said property and property rights
of UNION OIL COMPANY, by the City is planned, and the said
property and property rights sought to be taken are located in
a manner which will , when taken and used by the City, be most
compatible with the greatest public good and the least private
injury ;
That legal counsel for the City be, and he is hereby au-
thorized and ordered :
To acquire in the name of and on behalf of
the City, by grant , purchase, gift , or con-
demnation, in fee simple .
That certain regi property of UNION CIL CO ,IPANY, situate
in the City of Redlands , County of San Bernardino , State of
California, more particularly described as follows :
Lot 17, Block "B, " Orange Grove Addition to
Redlands per plat recorded in Book 4 of :Maps ,
Page 38 , Records of San Bernardino County.
ADOP'T'ED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 15th day of February
1966.
