A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
REDLANDS REVOKING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 373
FOR NONCOMPLIANCE WITH CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL
WHEREAS , on July 20 , 1982 , the City Council of the City
of Redlands approved Conditional Use Permit No. 373 for the
Holt House subject to twenty-eight conditions of approval ;
WHEREAS , Fire Department Condition No. 3 required installa-
tion of a standard fire hydrant ;
WHEREAS , on February 1 , 1983, the City Council of the
City of Redlands granted a one-year extension on the Conditional
Use Permit which required review at the first meeting in February
of 1984 ;
WHEREAS , on February 7 , 1984 , good cause appearing, the
City Council set a public hearing for March 6 , 1984 to consider
revocation of CUP No. 373 for noncompliance with the conditions
of approval ;
WHEREAS , notice was mailed of the hearing to the owners
of Holt House and public notice given of the hearing;
WHEREAS , the City Council heard uncontroverted testimony
that no fire hydrant was installed as required by the conditions
of approval;
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Redlands as follows:
1. The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby finds
that there has been noncompliance with the conditions of approval
for CUP No. 373 in that no fire hydrant has been installed as
required by Fire Department Condition No. 3 .
2. In accordance with Section 52. 00 (1) of Ordinance
No. 1000 at which testimony was presented.
3. Conditional Use Permit No. 373 for the property at
405 West Olive Avenue for use as a meeting place for nonprofit
civic groups or community organizations is hereby revoked and
shall be of no further force and effect as of March 7 , 1984 .
The property at 405 West Olive Avenue shall henceforth conform
to all regulations of the zone in which it is located.
