A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AUTHORIZING
APPLICATION FOR CONGESTION MITIGATION/AIR QUALITY (CMAQ) PROGRAM
CALL FOR PROTECTS
WHEREAS, the City of Redlands ("City") desires to submit an application for funds from
the Congestion Mitigation/Air Quality ("CMAQ") Program Call for Projects; and
WHEREAS, City possesses legal authority to nominate the CMAQ project to compliment
the proposed "Trolley" system, utilizing alternative-fuel buses in the City of Redlands; and
WHEREAS, City will abide by the project implementation schedule to be reflected in the
proposed project proposal and City will provide the site for a compressed natural gas fueling station
within the City of Redlands; and
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that the City of Redlands authorizes the nomination of
the Congestion Mitigation/Air Quality (CMAQ) program Call for Projects including all
understanding and assurances contained therein;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Redlands authorizes the person identified as
the official representative ofthe Administering Agency to act in connection with the nomination and
to provide such additional information as may be required.
