This first amendment ("First Amendment") to the Public Works Construction Contract for
the University Street and Brockton Avenue Traffic Signal Improvements Project dated May 17,
2022 (the "Contract"), by and between the City of Redlands, a municipal corporation and general
law city ("City"), and Elecnor Belco Electric, Inc., a California corporation ("Contractor"), is made
and entered into this I5t day of November 2022.
RECITALS
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City and Contractor to amend their existing Contract,
specifically to amend the Time for Completion of the Contract; and
WHEREAS, the City Council approved the contract with contractor for work in accordance
with the Contract Documents for City's University Street and Brockton Avenue Traffic Signal
Improvements Project, Project No. 253007;
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises contained herein City and
Contractor agree as follows:
AGREEMENT
Section 1. The time for completion, as set forth in Section 3 of the Contract, is hereby
amended to increase Contractor's time for completion and shall read as follows:
"TIME FOR COMPLETION: the Work shall be completed within Three Hundred Sixty
(360) calendar days from and after the date of City's issuance of a Notice to Proceed to
Contractor."
Section 2. All other provisions of the Contract shall remain unchanged by this First
Amendment, and in effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have executed this First Amendment, to be effective
as of the 1st day of November 2022.
