A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA FOR
WILDLAND FIRE PROTECTION
WHEREAS,an agreement by and between the State of California, Department of Forestry and Fire
Protection and the City of Redlands for wildland fire protection of certain lands in the City designated as
State Responsibility Areas has been presented to the City Council of the City of Redlands for its
consideration and approval; and
WHEREAS, the Fire Chief of the City of Redlands has reviewed the terms of the agreement and,
based upon the past performance of the State Department of Forestry and Fire Protection under similar prior
agreements with the City, has recommended approval of the agreement to this City Council;
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redlands as follows:
Section 1. The Agreement for services identifying the cost rates beginning July 1, 1996 is hereby
approved,that the Mayor of the City of Redlands is authorized to sign said Agreement for and on behalf of
the City of Redlands, and the City Clerk attest the same and affix thereto the seal of the City.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 4th day June 1996.
