Fee Waiver- - Showmobille - On motion of Councilmember Gilbreath, seconded by Councilmember Banda, the City Council unanimously authorized a waiver of $350.00 in fees for the Redlands Resident Advisory Group of the County Housing Authority for one day's use of the City's Showmobile, provided that certain other requirements noted in the rental contract are met for coverage, towing, set-up, a deposit. insurance e, and rental period. r� C1- Fee On motion of Councilmember Gilbreath, seconded by Councilmember Banda, the City Council unanimously approved a waiver of fees in the amount of S`?00.00 for use of the Redlands Bowl by the Girl Scouts of America or October 19, 1996, for their Annual Night Walk with a program by the Redlands YMCA circus. PLANNING AND COMMU�ILITY DEVELOPMEN,-T Planning Commission Actions - On motion of Councilmember Gilbreath, seconded by Councilmember Banda, the report of the Planning Commission meeting held on August 13, 1996, was unanimously acknowledged as received. COMMUNICATIONS Citrus Plaza Regional Mail - Councilmember Cunningham wondered why the County is proceeding with the Citrus Plaza Regional Mall application in night of the 1984 agreement between the City of Redlands, County of San Bernardino, and the Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO) regarding utilities within CSA 110. He felt weneeded to take all the necessary actions to protect our interest which the City Attorney is doing. Councilmember Gilbreath has indicated she wants to be a part of the negotiations. Staff said there is nothing formal occurring at this time, but noted the lines are open if the applicant wishes to proceed with the annexation process. Redlands - EAsh ion Center - Mr. Terry Lowe reported they are still working with Taubman Company to finalize an agreement for the development of the Redlands Fashion Center. In furtherance of such intention, Redlands' Residents Advisory Group for the Housing Avth� of San Bernardino County and the Housing Authority of San Bernardino County hereby expressly waive any and all rights and benefits conferred upon it by the provisions of Section 1542 of the California Civil Code which reads as follows; "A general release does not extend to claims which the creditor does not know or suspect to e)dst in his favor at the time of execution of the release, which if known by him must have materially affected his settlement with the debtor."
