HomeMy WebLinkAbout758_CCv0001.pdf RESOLUTION No. 758 WHEREAS, a general municipal election was held and conducted in the City of Redlands on Tuesday, April 130 1954, as required by law; AND, WHEREAS, it appears that notice of said election was duly and legally given, that voting precincts were properly established, that election officers were appointed and election supplies furnished, m d that in all respects said election was held and conducted and the votes cast thereat received and canvassed, and the returns thereof, made, determined and declared in time, form and manner as required by the general laws of the State providing for the regulating of Municipal ''E; eetions In cities of the fifth and sixth class; AND, WHEREAS, the City Council of said city ret at the council Chr4mbers thereof on Tuesday, the 220th clay of April, 1,954, at sex en o 'clock,, to canvass the returns of said election; and whereas the Council finds that as the result of said canvass that the number of votes cast, the names of the persons voted for, and other matters required by law, to be hereinafter stated, now therefor it is hereby declared, RESOLVED AND DETERMINED as follows: That said general municipal election was held and conducted in the City of Redlands on Tuesday, the 13th day of April, 1954, in time, manner and form as required by law; That there were 14 voting precincts established in said City for the purpose of holding said election, lettered A to N inclusive, a con- solidation of the regular precincts l to 39, established for holding State and County Elections; That the whole number of votes cast in said City of Redlands at Said Election was 4321; Th the t€f�m64 of rergon8 v t t "°for, the off I * `� �h were voted, the number of votes received by each of said persons, in each of said precincts, to ,ethor with the z��a ��. ri-._U nor of votcs w1nieh they received in the entire City are as follows; TTEREFORE, at said general municipal. elec? i c�x� In the City of Redlands-, April 13, 1954, the following persons were elected to the following offices respectfully; Emmett Osbun was elected a member of the City Council for the full term of four gears from ad after Ttresda;f, April 33, 1954, axed until his successor is elected m d qualified; Maxald Robert Lo Yorlan was elected a member of the City Council for a full term of four years from !r d after Tuesday, April 13, 1954, and until his successor is elected and qualified.; Henry J.
