RESOLUTION OF THE CIT COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS,
CALIFORNIA, ZSTABLISHING POLICIES AND PROMDURES FOR THE
REQUESTEDREVIEW OF BENEFITS
WORKING CONDI NFOR THE 1972-73 FISCAL EA BUDGET.
WHEREAS, Chapter 10, Division= on , Title I of the oe n-
ment Code of the State of California was amended, effective
January 1, 1969, for hpurpose of prowoting is rov
Employer-Employee relations between public employees and
their employers by estahiishing uniform and orderly methods
of communicating between employees and tne public agencies
by which h y are employed; and
WHEREAS, Government Codes Section 3507, empow h
City to adopt reasonable rules and regulations after cons t-
at ion in gDod faith with representatives f its employee
organizations for the administration of Employer-Employee
relations; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to comply with '
State Law; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager is authorized to represent
he City Council in all matters of Employee-Employer re-
lations
-l ionwi authority to meet and confer in good faith on
ages, hours, and other terms and conditions of employment ;
WHEREAS, is necessary to d8velop an orderly policy
and procedure for the conduct of oy -Em j y e negotia-
tions

t o for she 1972-73 fiscal year ;
NO-VI, THEREFORE, P2 1T RESOLVED as follows:
® City ,°'employs° organizations shall submit in writing
the City Manager requested changes in wages, fringe benefits,
working conditions and provisions of the Personnel Rules and
Regulations of the City of Redlands . Such requests, including
supporting t , shall be submitted no later thanFebruary 2.
