A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AMENDING RESOLUTION
NO. 4953 ADOPTING LOCAL GUIDELINES FOR IMPLEMENTING THE
CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 4953 Amending and Adopting Local Guidelines for
Implementing the California Environmental Quality Act was adopted by the City Council on
February 16, 1993.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Redlands
to amend Resolution No. 4953, Section 9.14 to read as follows:
9.14 "Environmental Review Committee (ERC)" means a committee composed of five
members consisting of the City: (1) Community Development Director, (2) City
Manager, (3) Public Works Director, (4) Municipal Utilities Director, and (5) Fire
Chief. The ERC shall function as a local agency for the purpose of implementing
the provisions of CEQA by reviewing all projects for environmental effect and by
recommending to the City Council or Planning Commission adoption of negative
declarations and reviewing and recommending certification or noncertification of
all Final EIRs. The ERC shall function as the final decision making body for
certain projects. The Community Development Director shall serve as Chairman
of the ERC and each member shall select an alternate who shall attend the
meetings of said Committee in their absence and be entitled to vote upon all
matters before said Committee in the absence of the appointed member."
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 16th day of November, 1993.
