A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
ESTABLISHING GUIDELINES FOR PLACING MATTERS ON THE CONSENT
CALENDAR OF THE CITY COUNCIL'S MEETING AGENDAS
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council of the City of Redlands to establish
guidelines for the placement of matters on the Consent Calendar portion of the City Council's
meeting agendas;
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Matters may be placed on the consent calendar of the City Council's meeting
agendas if they meet the following guidelines:
* Non-controversial or routine items not requiring a public hearing;
* The matter does not present a potential conflict of interest for any Council
member;
* Purchase orders or contracts having a value not exceeding Two Hundred Fifty
Thousand Dollars ($250,000.00)
Section 2. Any item that otherwise meets the requirements for placement on the consent
calendar of the City's Council's meeting agenda may be taken off of the consent calendar and
placed elsewhere on the agenda at the discretion of the City Manager or the City Council.
