A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
DELEGATING THE AUTHORITY FOR THE APPROVAL AND EXECUTION
OF STATE PROGRAM AGREEMENTS FOR FEDERALLY FUNDED
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS
WHEREAS, the City of Redlands ("the City") is eligible to receive Federal funding for
transportation projects through the California Department of Transportation; and
WHEREAS, State Master Agreements, Program Supplemental Agreements, Fund
Exchange Agreements and/or Fund Transfer Agreements must be approved and executed with
the California Department of Transportation before such funds can be claimed by the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Redlands wishes to delegate the approval
and execution of all State Master Agreements, Fund Exchange Agreements and/or Fund Transfer
Agreements and/or any amendments thereto, with the California Department of Transportation,
to the Mayor of the City or any Council member;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF REDLANDS AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby authorizes the Mayor of
the City of Redlands or any City Council Member to approve and execute agreements with the
California Department of Transportation to receive federal transportation funding on behalf of
the City. Such documents, when duly authorized and executed by the Mayor or any member of
City Council of the City of Redlands, shall be binding upon the City as if separately approved by
the City Council.
