A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE REDLANDS ESTABLISHING
SPECIFIC FEES AND CHARGES TO RECOVER COSTS REASONABLY
BORNE, INCREASING SPECIFIC FEES IN THE ADULT SPORT PROGRAMS AND
RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 6807
WHEREAS, the City of Redlands, through its Recreation Division, operates the Redlands
Community Center,the Redlands Senior Center and the Joslyn Senior Center to provide its citizens
with facilities at which they may participate in and enjoy various recreational activities; and
WHEREAS, the City of Redlands, through its Recreation Division, also operates playing
fields,and
WHEREAS, the Recreation Division incurs costs to operate facilities and provide
recreational services,programs and activities and seeks to recover these costs from the participants in
these programs; and
WHEREAS, Section 3.16.040 of the Redlands Municipal Code further provides that the
specific amounts of fees and charges set pursuant to Chapter 3.16,shall be established by resolution
of the City Council of the City of Redlands;
NOW,THEREFORE,be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Redlands as follows:
Section 1. The specific fees and charges for the corresponding regulations, products and
services provided by the City as enumerated in Chapter 3.16 of the Redlands Municipal Code are
hereby established in the amounts shown in Exhibit "A," which is attached to this resolution and
incorporated herein by this reference.
Section 2. The fees and charges established by this resolution for the corresponding
regulations, products and services provided by the City supersede all previously adopted fees and
charges for such regulations,products and services.
Section 3. Resolution No. 6807 of the City Council of the City of Redlands is hereby
rescinded.
Section 4. The City Council hereby finds and determines that the adoption of this resolution
is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Public Resources
Code section 21080(b)(8)(1) because this resolution approves and establishes a procedure for the
purpose of meeting the operating expenses of the City.
