A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS ESTABLISHING A SCHEDULE OF
FEES TO BE CHARGED FOR SPECIFIED TYPES OF BUILDING PERMITS AND
AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 3510
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS does hereby resolve
as follows :
SECTION ONE: That the following amendment to Resolution No.
3510, Section III, Subsection 4 , Permits , be added after the words
"Fee based on value as per currently adopted Uniform Building Code" :
EXCEPTION: Regardless of valuation, costs for the
following building permit categories shall
not exceed the specified maximun, sums for
work on any one lot or parcel of property:
Chain link or wood fence. . . . . . . . . . . . . $10. 00
Hot tub or spa (additional
electrical, plumbing, and/or
mechanical permits at regular
fees. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $10. 00
Underground fuel tanks. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $10. 00
Masonry garden wall (retaining
thirty [30] inches or less of
earth. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $15. 00
Patios (each structure) . . . . . . . . . . . . . $15 . 00
Roof recover (each structure) . . . . . . . . $15. 00
NOTE: This exception is not intended to prevent the use
of the regular fee schedule for the issuance of one per-
mit for fencing or block walls on more than one property,
providing the additional property is contiguous and under
one ownership.
SECTION TWO- Fees stipulated in Section one shall become
effective July 2, 1979.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 5th day of June, 1979.

f. Acceptance of a Declaration of Dedication from
Dedication James Dickerson for street right-of-way purposes
as required by CRA 413.
Outside g. Provide outside water service to property owned by
Water the Redlands Footlighters, Inc. on Barton Road near
Service Terracina Boulevard next to the Asistencia Mission
and waiver of the 8500 processing fee for the non-
Fee Waiver profit City organization.
h. Authorization for the Mayor and City Clerk to sign
Quitclaim a Quitclaim Deed to Royalite Plastics, Inc. for a
Deed drainage easement that is no longer needed by the
Royalite. City as the owners of the property are dedicating
a drainage easement where desired by the City.
i. A 7-1/2 percent salary increase, retroactive to
Salary January 1, 1979, for the City Clerk and the City
Treasurer.
j . Acceptance of a Declaration of Dedication from
Dedication Leonard S . and Ruth M. 11arbeson for alley right-
otE-way in conjuction with Building Permit No. 514 .
k. Authorize the following clarification of Resolution
Storm V No. 3534 - Drainage Fees: Demolition - Where
Drain Fees demolition occurs , and the size of the new structure
Clarification is expanded, fifteen cents ($. 15) per square foot
shall be the fee for any differential.
on motion. of Councilman DeMir)*yn, seconded by Councilman
Claim Riordan, a claim in the name of Gary E. Holub was denied
in routine manner and referred to the City' s insurance
carrier.
Bills and salaries were ordered paid as approved by the
Finance Committee.
There being no further business , Council adjourned, on
motion, at 7 : 35 P.M.
