A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 2993, WHICH ESTABLISHES FEES FOR
HILLSIDE MEMORIAL PARK
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES RESOLVE AS FOL-
LOWS :
SECTION ONE: Resolution No. 2993, Section One, is amended
to read as follows:
"Section One: Interment fees, disinterment fees, overtime
work fees, and cemetery operating hours:
Overtime work is defined as interment work, or
graveside services required outside of cemetery operating hours .
All interments and disinterments requiring overtime work will be
charged at double the regular fees for these services (see above
for regular fee schedule) .
" (h) Cemetery operating hours:
"l. Week days (excluding Saturdays P.M. , Sundays
and city established holidays) , 8:00 A.M. to
4:30 P.M.
"2. All interment services conducted in the
cemetery, to avoid overtime charge, shall
leave the premises not later than 3 : 30 P.M.
on weekdays and 11:00 A.M. on Saturdays.
Interments requiring overtime work:
"Overtime work rates shall be charged for all
funerals leaving the cemetery after 3 : 30 P.M.
on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays,
Fridays and after 11:00 A.M. on Saturdays. Over-
time is charged at the rate of $10.00 for each
half hour or portion thereof for any funeral
leaving the cemetery after 3 :30 P.M. on Monday,
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and 11 :00
A.M. on Saturday. Minimum overtime charge is
$25 .00.
"Except in cases of extreme emergency, as determined
by the Cemetery Superintendent, interments will not
be authorized on Sundays or holidays observed by
city employees . When authorized, the interment
charges will be doubled. "
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 21st day of May, 1974.
