A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF REDLANDS ESTABLISHING USER CATEGORIES AND
CORRESPONDING FEES FOR USE OF THE REDLANDS
COMMUNITY CENTER
WHEREAS, the City of Redlands, through its Recreation
Division, operates the Redlands Community Center to provide its
citizens with a facility at which they may participate in and enjoy
various recreational activities; and
WHEREAS , the Redlands Community Center is intended to be
used for individual as well as organized group social and
recreational activities, including wedding receptions, special
interest group events and community meetings; and
WHEREAS, Chapter 12 . 44 of the Redlands Municipal Code
authorizes this City Council to establish by resolution fees for
use of the Redlands Community Center;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Redlands as follows:
Section 1. The user categories and corresponding fees
for persons and groups making application to use the Redlands
Community Center as set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto are
hereby adopted.
Section 2 . This Resolution shall take effect on the
effective date of Ordinance No. 2199-

The following user categories for the purpose of establishing fees
for the use of the Redlands Community Center facility are as
follows:
GROUP 1 : (A) Programs or activities sponsored by the City of
Redlands.
(B) Organizations who cooperatively reciprocate the use
of facilities with the City of Redlands, including
Redlands Unified School District and the University
of Redlands .
(C) Services or programs primarily for the citizens of
Redlands provided at no fee or donation, and open
to the public (not including private individuals or
businesses contracting with an agency to provide
services "free" to community residents, or
accepting donations) , including USDA Food Giveaway,
governmental elections and the Red Ribbon Thank You
Breakfast.
(D) Meetings held occasionally (quarterly or less)
which are of benefit to the citizens of Redlands,
open to the public, and for which no fees or
donations are collected during the meetings by the
resident service organizations, including the Lions
Club, Kiwanis, Rotary, Soroptimist, Elks, and
American Legion Post, and non-profit community
organizations, including the Family services
Association, Boys and Girls Club, YMCA and YWCA.
GROUP 2 : Fundraisers, registrations or occasional meetings
(quarterly or less) for which fees are collected by
resident service organizations, including the Lions
Club, Kiwanis, Rotary, Soroptimist, Elks, American
Legion Post, and non-profit community
organizations, including the Family Services
Association, Boys and Girls Club, YMCA, YWCA and
Redlands Baseball for Youth.
GROUP 3 : Private groups or individuals holding meetings,
including special events and weddings, for which no
admission or donation fees are collected.
GROUP 4 : Businesses or profit making organizations.

rental, and cleaning deposit at the Redlands Community Center
facility are as follows:
