HomeMy WebLinkAbout7432_CCv0001.pdf RESOLUTION NO. 7432 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS ESTABLISHING SPECIFIC AMOUNTS OF NEW FEES FOR OPEN SPACE AND PARKS, TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENTS, STORM DRAIN FACILITIES AND PUBLIC FACILITIES AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NOS. 6602 AND 6603 WHEREAS, Chapters 3.32, 3.54, 3.56 and 3.60 of the Redlands Municipal Code establish, respectively, Open Space and Parks, Transportation Improvements, Storm Drain Facilities and Public Facilities Fees (Civic Center, City Yard, Fire, Library, Police) to implement the City's General Plan to ensure that public open space and parks including recreational facilities, transportation improvements, storm drains, and public facilities improvements which meet City standards are available concurrent with the need caused for such lands and facilities by new development in the City; and WHEREAS, pursuant to a study entitled, "City of Redlands Development Impact Fee Study," dated December 12, 2013, the City Council of the City of Redlands (this "City Council") has established regulations governing the imposition of new Open Space and Parks,Transportation Improvements, Storm Drain Facilities and Public Facilities Fees in Chapters 3.32, 3.54, 3.56 and 3.60 of the Redlands Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, the provisions of the Redlands Municipal Code further provide that the specific amounts of the fees identified in Chapters 3.32, 3.54, 3.56 and 3.60 of the Code shall be established by resolution of this City Council; NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redlands as follows: Section 1. The Parks Fee is hereby established in the following amounts: A. Residential Fee per dwelling unit(DU) 1. Single Family $ 4,530.33 2. Multi-Family $ 3,473.25 3. Mobile Home $ 2,491.68 B. Non-Residential Fee per 1.000 square feet of building area (KSF) 1. Commercial $ No Fee 2. Office $ No Fee 3. Industrial $ No Fee C. Non-Residential Fee per room(sinjale Puest room or suite) 1. Hotel/Motel $ No Fee Section 2. The Community Center Facilities Fee is hereby established in the following amounts: A. Residential Fee per dwelling unit (DU) 1.
