A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
PROVIDING FOR PROMISSORY LETTERS IN LIEU OF SCHOOL FEES
WHEREAS , this City Council has diligently studied the
school impaction problem; and
WHEREAS , this City Council determines that the mitigation
fees being administered by the Redlands Unified School District.
need revision; and
WHEREAS , said fees should be studied in depth by both the
City Council and the Redlands Unified School District; and
WHEREAS, time is needed by both jurisdictions; namely,
the City of Redlands and the Redlands Unified School District
to study the entire subject of school mitigation fees.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Redlands that the City of Redlands will accept from
those proposing to construct residential units a duly notarized
letter promising to pay a mitigation fee: to the Redlands Unified
School District at such time as the subject fee is determined
by the City of Redlands .
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 2nd day of December, 1980 .
