A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
ESTABLISHING A SCHEDULE OF PUBLIC FACILITY FEES FOR
FIRE, POLICE, LIBRARY, CITY HALL AND CITY YARD FACILITIES
AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 4747
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Redlands (this "City Council") has adopted
Ordinance No. 2048, as amended by Ordinance No. 2146, which establishes a requirement for
the payment of public facility fees by new development within the City to ensure that new public
facilities are constructed and made available concurrent with the need caused by the new
development; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance No. 2048, this City Council approved Resolution No.
4747 which established a schedule setting forth the specific amount of fees for public facility
construction to be levied upon new development within the City; and
WHEREAS, this City Council has determined that the present fees imposed upon new
development for public facility construction may be temporarily reduced for a period of 18
months without any long term adverse financial impact to the City; and
WHEREAS, the fees collected pursuant to this resolution shall be used to finance public
facility construction described in the City's Program Report for development Impact Fees, dated
October, 1990; and
WHEREAS, the facts and evidence presented to this City Council establish that there s
a reasonable relationship between the need for public facility improvements and the impacts of
new development for which the corresponding fee is charged and also that there is a reasonable
relationship between the fees use and the type of development for which the fee is charged;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Redlands as
follows:
SECTION 1. Local public facility fees for residential, commercial and industrial
development are hereby determined to be as shown on the attached three tables.

SECTION 2. The fees specified in this resolution shall become effective on August 22,
1994 and at that time, Resolution No. 4747 shall be rescinded without further action of this
Council and shall be of no further effect.
