A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS GRANTING TO
A & B TOWING, 448-A TENNESSEE STREET, REDLANDS, CALIFORNIA, A FRANCHISE
TO OPERATE AUTHORIZED TOW-TRUCKS OVER, ALONG AND UPON THE STREETS OF
THE CITY OF REDLANDS, AND TO OPERATE AUTHORIZED STORAGE GARAGES FOR
IMPOUNDED OR STORED VEHICLES IN THE CITY OF REDLANDS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS does resolve as follows:
SECTION ONE: Under the provisions of Section Nineteen, Ordinance
No. 1425 of the City of Redlands, the City Council hereby grants to:
A & B TOWING
448-A Tennessee Street
Redlands, California
a franchise to operate authorized tow-trucks over , along and upon the
streets of the City of Redlands, and to operate authorized storage
garages for impounded or stored vehicles in the City of Redlands.
SECTION TWO: The term of this franchise shall be for a period
of ten (10) years, commencing May 22, 1985, and terminating on
May 21 , 1995.
SECTION THREE: The rules and regulations prescribed in Ordinance
No. 1425 shall govern the operation of the franchise.
SECTION FOUR: The granting of this franchise is conditional upon
A & B Towing filing within ten (10) days, with the City Clerk, City
of Redlands, a written acceptance thereof, and an agreement to comply
with the terms and conditions of Ordinance No. 1425.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 21st day of May, 1985.

G entlemen:
I am writing in regards to the towing franchise for the City
of Redlands.. I have an Automobile Club of Southern California
contract; therefore, I will be towing for the Redlands Police
D epartment.:
I operate A & B. Towing, located at 448A Tennessee Street, and
have a storage yard located at the same above address. I have
two 1973 Chevrolet one ton tow trucks, and a special "wheel
lift" type tow dolly available for twenty four hour towing.
I have been in businessf.or five years in Redlands.
Any consideration you can give me regarding the City franchise
and police rotation will be greatly appreciated.. I will comply
with- the City requirements and try to always give exceptional
service.
