A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS GRANTING
TO CITRUS VILLAGE TOWING, 418 NORTH ORANGE STREET, REDLANDS ,
CALIFORNIA, A FRANCHISE TO OPERATE AUTHORIZED TOW-TRUCKS OVER,
ALONG AND UPON THE STREETS OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS, AND TO OPERATE
AUTHORIZED STORAGE GARAGES FOR IMPOUNDED OR STORED VEHICLES IN THE
CITY OF REDLANDS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS does resolve as
follows :
SECTION ONE : Under the provisions of Section Nineteen,
Ordinance No. 1425 of the City of Redlands , the City Council
hereby grants to:
Citrus Village Towing
418 North Orange Street
Redlands , California
a franchise to operate authorized tow-trucks over, along and upon
the streets of the City of Redlands , and to operate authorized
storage garages for impounded or stored vehicles in the City of
Redlands .
SECTION TWO: The term of this franchise shall be for a period
of ten (10) years , commencing May 8 , 1985 and terminating on
May 7 , 1995 .
SECTION THREE : The rules and regulations prescribed in
Ordinance No. 1425 shall govern the operation of the franchise .
SECTION FOUR: The granting of this franchise is conditional
upon Citrus Village Towing filing within ten (10) days , with the
City Clerk, City of Redlands , a written acceptance thereof, and
an agreement to comply with the terms and conditions of Ordinance
No. 1425 .
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 7th day of May , 1985 .

Dear sir,
we write you in reference to a towing franchise for the city
of Redlands , in the hopes that you and the city council will
consider our company' s eligibility for same .
uur company has new ownership, operating without any influence
or assistance from any prior ownership. we do, however, continue
to offer the services of our familiar staff and management, and
4 service units available 14 hrs . a day, as well as our office
and storage facilities , at 418 orange st. , and 500 w. Stuart
respectively. we have equiptment for heavy-duty service , special
trucks for normally non-towable cars , and we can provide service
in underground parking lots , which we believe is unique tb Redlands .
we have read and fully understand the city ordinance , ff1425 ,
which governs tow companies , as outlined by the police deparTr:ent
and we intend to comply to the utmost. Our equPptment and facilities
all mett the guidelines, and we hope to continue to provide this
city and it' s citizens with high quality at competitive rates , and
with an emphasis on service , as in years past.
in closing, we would only ask any consideration you can grant
us in this matter, as we are anxious to begin providing our
important service tb the City and people of Redlands .
